Thank you to everyone who turned out on 29 July, which was a beautiful sunny Sunday, for the barbecue in aid of Greyhound Action.

We all had a great time on the canal side, sharing food and enjoying each other's company. We had lots of fun and a couple of members of the group entertained us with juggling! People were very generous with their food contributions too, the standard was very high as usual, and we had kind donations from Beanie's and Redwoods which were greatly appreciated. Everyone who came gave generously and we raised around £160 and gained new members and contacts to boot.

Thanks to Greyhound Action who bought their stall to sell T-shirts, mugs, cards and badges etc... and inform everybody about the fate of racing dogs. It was lovely to see them again, they do such a good job for a worthy cause.
