Remembering Rusty Wolverhampton - 3 May 2008

Stall in Wolves City Centre, 11am - 3pm Monmore Green Demonstration on the evening - 5.45pm - 7pm

Wolverhampton Greyhound Action will be joining with others around the country on Saturday 3 May in remembering a beautiful black greyhound called Rusty, and the fate of many other greyhounds, sad victims of the racing industry. Rusty was used, abused then left for dead in the Welsh country side with extensive injuries, he was taken to the vets but he was so badly injured that he did not recover. See Rusty's sad story here. We shall be having an information stall with leaflets and petitions in Wolverhampton from about 11am till around 3pm. Please come along an learn more about the campaign and the ways you can help end this horrific industry. Tasty vegan food is available at the City Bar if you need to grab a bite while you are in town. We shall be set up somewhere along Dudley Street in the city centre. On the evening we will be at Monmore Green Stadium at the usual times of 5.45pm to 7pm to peacefully protest against this cruel business and to educate the public about what really happens in the racing world.
